Haina Kalahari Lodge is situated on a Private Game Reserve on the Northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The setting is classically African, relaxed and informal. The Main Boma consists of a lounge, dining room, a swimming pool, sun deck & a well-appointed bar area decorated in wood and thatch. An adjacent waterhole, where Game comes to drink throughout the day, allows guests the luxury of game viewing from the Boma. The Lodge accommodates 20 guests in tented accommodation which are all private with their own decks. Brakah Campsite, situated ±3km from the main lodge, can accommodate 25 guests. Activities: Game drives, Walks, Stargazing and a Bushmen Cultural experience. Optional Activities include: Quad bike safaris, Day trips to CKGR and Makgadigadi Salt pans. Some of the Game which can be seen on these activities include: Lion, leopard, honeybadger, porcupine, Gemsbok, Eland and many more.

The Central Kalahari is in the heart of Botswana and consists of semi arid, pristine Bush land and open savannahs; its surface dotted with pans and veined with ancient riverbeds, with the most famous being Deception.

The most obvious and practical route is via Rakops, the last refuelling stop on the main tar road between Maun & Letlakhane. Mopipi is the most reliable for petrol. The turnoff to the Haina Kalahari Lodge is ±18km North of Rakops. Turn left at the Haina Kalahari Lodge signboard and follow the cut line for ±57km until you reach the Kuke Veterinary Gate. Pass through the gate and follow the Central Kalahari Game Reserve fence line for ±22km until you reach the Haina Kalahari Lodge signboard. Turn to your right and follow this road for ±4km to the Main Lodge (S 20º 56.966’ E 023º 40.684’). Charter planes can be arranged from Maun as we have a well maintained registered airstrip called Haina Ventures(S20, 57 E 023, 40), five minutes from the lodge.
