Centro Touristico Caracol is a new resort consisting of double storey holiday apartments all facing the sea. Although the resort is not right on the beach it is a mere 10m across the road to reach the sand. There are a total of 20 apartments at present. All the apartments have big, airy bedrooms and lounge area which are air-conditioned. There is a private bathroom for each apartment with cold water showers only. In addition there is a veranda or patio in front of the apartment. Standard facilities in every room are fridge, TV, and a kettle. There are one or two bedroom apartments. There is no restaurant or bar on the premises but there are three restaurants in Wimbi from which to choose and all are close by. There is also a dive shop on the beach in front of Caracol.
