THE BEACH HOUSES There are two stunning beach houses which are positioned on the beachfront approximately 20 meters above sea level with only the tropical Indian Ocean in front of you. The six bedroom furnished and fully equipped houses are capable of sleeping eighteen persons and boast four sea facing double rooms all opening onto a wrap around verandah. There are two five sleeper rear bedrooms (great for kids). The Beach House has three bathrooms, each with a shower, toilet and with double vanity basins. The central dining room and living area links into a fully equipped open plan kitchen equipped with with a gas stove, deep freeze, refrigerator and microwave oven and also opens up onto the expansive sea facing, covered wrap around verandah. You will enjoy the beautiful sea views, balmy evenings and romantic moon rises over the sea which are truly spectacular. THE BEACH CHALETS We have two spacious, self-catering, furnished and fully equipped Beach Chalets offering luxury accommodation. Each chalet has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. (Shower, toilet & double vanity basins). The bedrooms open up onto a large sea facing verandah as does the central living room which links to a large fully equipped open plan kitchen with a lock up store/pantry. These are 4-sleeper units with a king-size bed in each room accommodating two adults.but can be set up to sleep a maximum of six persons. (This set-up is best suited to adults with children sharing the room ). There is a comprehensive inventory in each unit to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable. The chalets are serviced daily by our friendly maid Constancia. CANCELLATION POLICY Morrungulo Bay has a cancellation policy in place to ensure that occupancy levels are adequately maintained. The following terms are applicable when booking your accommodation. Cancellation up to 8 weeks prior to arrival -you will receive a full refund. Cancellation within 8 - 4 weeks prior to arrival - You will receive a 50% refund Cancellation within 4 weeks prior to your arrival - No refund will be paid. All Cancellations must be submitted in writing and adressed to Mr.Gavin Reimers. Your cancellation will only be valid once you have received a confirmation email from Morrungulo Bay. Morrungulo Bay will attempt to secure alternative bookings for any cancelled periods. All refunds are subject to Morrungulo Bay successfully finding new occupants for your booking. On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation Morrungulo Bay will refund the applicable amount as determined by the cancellation terms of Morrungulo Bay, within 5 working days.Morrungulo Bay levies a 7% administration fee on any refunds processed. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.

Initial considerations and preparation: * Passports - You will need a valid passport which does not expire within 6 months of your return date from Mozambique. * Malaria - You are entering a malaria zone - get professional medical advice on the most suitable prophylactics for your current state of health. Some malaria prevention medicines require that treatment commences some time before your entry date into a malaria zone. Plan for this and commence your treatment timeously. * Money - If you are not taking cash with you remember to ensure your credit cards are paid up to date or at least have sufficient facility on them to provide for your travel needs. Remember your ATM pin codes. Cash in local currency can be drawn at most ATM's bearing the VISA, VISA Electron or Mastercard logos. We have found that BCI, Barclays and Standard Bank are not as congested as the local banks. Ensure that you change your daily withdrawal limits on your cards with your domicile bank before you leave for Mozambique. * Vehicle - Service your vehicle, check your tyres, check your spare wheel. Third party insurance is compulsory for your trip into Mozambique. From Komatipoort travel towards the RSA/Mozambique border control. From the border continue directly towards Maputo. You will pass firstly through the Moamba toll (Mtn 95.00).Continue to Matola and onwards to the Maputo Toll Plaza (Mtn 17.50). After the toll keep your eyes open for the EN1-Xai Xai exit on your left hand side. take this exit onto the EN1 to Xai-Xai. Your routing from this exit will be as follows; Maputo North, Marracuene, Bobole, Manhica, Palmeira,Macia, Chissano, Xai-Xai, Chonguene, Chidenguele, Quissico, Inharrime, Lindela (at Lindela remember to keep left to proceed to Maxixe), Maxixe, Morrumbene and to Massinga which is the final village before you exit to Morrungulo. From Massinga you will continue North on the EN1 for about 5kms until you see the Morrungulo sign on your right hand side. Take this exit and proceed 13 kms down a seasonly good red sand/gravel road to the Morrungulo village T-Junction. At the T-junction turn right and travel 300m down a sand track. Take the first sand track exit on your left and proceed directly to the Morrungulo Bay entrance gates/booms. Welcome!Bem Vindo!
