Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge consists of 22 double rooms housed in traditional round buildings, which are aesthetically integrated in the natural surroundings. Awesome views of the Namib Desert can be experienced from each room's balcony. Rostock Ritz is built on the slope of a hill overlooking in the north the Rostock Mountain range and in the southwest the colourful dune landscape of the Namib Desert. A well known Namibian architect designed the unique round structures that blend into the granite surrounding. An often asked question is: Why round?. First of all to give it an African flair; further no roof structure was necessary (seasonal twisters are not uncommon in this region), and the cave feeling of the interior lets the guest feel secure in the wilderness of Namibia.
