At the foot of the majestic Waterberg Plateau is the magnificent ranch Okosongomingo, a 50 000 ha paradise of natural African savannah.
For generations of the Schneider-Waterberg family have lived on this farm. A substantial part of the famous Waterberg is situated on the ranch.
Lead by our motto 'a Fine Taste of Africa' guests at Waterberg Game Guest House are treated in a style benefiting the spectacular surroundings.
Our private guest house is built on the slope of the small Waterberg. We serve home cooked meals, prepared from our own organic farm produce, in our lapa under the starry skies of Africa or in a dining room with an exquisite view onto the Waterberg. The kitchen is complimented by our selection of wines that we take great pride in.
Your hosts, Hannah and Harry Schneider-Waterberg, are the founding members of the WATERBERG CONSERVANCY, which consists of a cluster of ranches around the Waterberg and measuring about 180 000 ha in total. The members of the Waterberg Conservancy have committed themselves to a common game management strategy, striving ultimately for the sustainable utilisation of game, the conservation of fauna and flora in general and the preservation of delicate ecosystems, fast disappearing across the African continent.
