We are very close to Kloofendal Nature Reserve, Florida Lake (catering for a wide variety of recreational activities), Roodepoort Athletics Stadium in Ruimsig, Roodepoort Country Club (for golf enthusiasts), Roodepoort Botanical Gardens, and Roodepoort Musuem. The world renowned Sterkfontein Caves(Cradle of Humankind) are in close proximity.

Follow the directions to Roodepoort. If you come through Braamfontein and Brixton you join Main Road in Newlands. Main Road later changes name to Ontdekkers Road. Stay on Ontdekkers Road until you get to Florida Junction (corner Ontdekkers and Christiaan de Wet). Turn left at Christian de Wet Road to the main entrance of Unisa (Florida Campus; former TSA close to Roodepoort Civic Centre). With Unisa to your left, turn right onto Phillips Street. Stay on Phillips which changes its name to Farrar Street, Fiona Street and finally Andries Bruyn Street. Horizon Guesthouse is at No. 54, Andries Bruyn Street.
