• Visit the nearby Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, situated 5 km from Paternoster. The light house at Titiesbaai in the Cape Columbine Reserve is one of the country’s last manned lighthouses and worth a visit.
• Visit one of the many wine farms along the West Coast and see how the sea air adds a flavour of its own, making your wine tasting experience a unique one.

From N1 WinelandsTake the R44 towards Wellington
At Fourway stop turn left onto R45 to Malmesbury
Travel 35km and keep going straight through to Malmesbury.
At T Junction in Malmesbury, turn right into main road pass the SPAR on your right and travel on until you eventually get to turn right onto N7 direction Mooreeesburg
Once on the N7 after 2,5km turn left on the R45 towards Hopefield
Continue on the R45 Past Hopefield for approx 28 Kilometers until you reach a 4 – way stop.
This is the intersection with the R27.
Continue over the 4 Way Stop direction Vredenburg.
Continue approx 9 Kilometers until you get to a 4 way traffic light (robot!)
Continue straight through the town of Vredenburg and on to Paternoster about 20 km.
When you arrive in Paternoster you get to a four way stop.
Turn left at this point and travel along this road and follow the signs to Abalone House
