Barry Hall is a gracious old manor house built at the turn of the century with original fireplaces, wooden floors and finishes, and is recently totally renovated with modern kitchens and bathrooms Each self contained apartment is spacious and furnished in Art Deco, Scandinavian or Retro style and is centrally situated in Fresnaye on the Atlantic Seaboard. Barry Hall is 5 minutes drive away from the City or beaches and ideally located to explore Cape Town and its surrounding Winelands, Cape Point Nature Reserve and experience the culinary delights of local cuisine in restaurants throughout the city. The apartments offer beautiful views of Lions Head and is within 5 minutes walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, beachfront promenade and Olympic size swimming pools. Barry Hall has 4 large self catering apartments and a garden cottage, fully equipped kitchens, including large fridge, microwave oven, hob and in apartment 1 and 3, ovens. Some bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towel rails, some are modern with rustic walls or have Victorian baths complete with candles for you to relax after a busy day. Most bedrooms have extra length king size beds with crisp white cotton bedding and where bathrooms are not en-suite, towelling gowns are provided. There are 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms in the 5 apartments, sleeping a total of 17. Our resident housekeeper is on hand to attend to your domestic needs and will assist with laundry. The apartments are serviced 5 days a week. Don?t feel like cooking breakfast? A well established coffee bar / restaurant is in the adjoining building ? they will deliver to Barry Hall, time permitting. Off-street parking for 3 cars behind electronically controlled gates. Additional public parking available for 40 cars adjacent to the building. Enjoy a glass of chilled Chardonnay on your own large balcony, or in our cosy courtyard garden, a weber barbeque facility as well as gas grill is available and there are tables and chairs for al fresco dining as well as deck chairs to relax in.

To get there from the airport: * Take the N2 into Cape Town * At Groote Schuur Hospital (on your right) make sure you are in the right-hand lanes as the road splits a little further up * Follow signs to the city centre and V&A Waterfront * Take the Strand Street turnoff (left-hand turn) * Continue straight along Strand Street, past the main city station and cross Adderley Street, St Georges Street and Buitengracht Street * Strand Street then becomes High Level Road * Stay on this road for a further 4 km * Turn right into St Johns Road * Turn sharp left at the first set of traffic lights, into Main Road, Sea Point * First left into Irwinton Road * Barry Hall is no 6 - the 1st large building on the right-hand side after parking area
