Benguela is situated on the point in South Elands Bay. It is spacious & cool, with views of the sea and mountain. Sleeps 6 people. To sleep 6 more, please ask for a quote that includes the cottage (see white cottage on left). Upstairs: a master bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and balconey access. Two single beds next to stairwell. Living room with great views and access to balconey. Downstairs: bedroom with double bed with shower/toilet next door, kitchen, and living room. High ceilings downstairs (4m) keep the house cool. The swimming pool is surrounded by bush. It is 3.5 by 5 meters. Magic for anyone in this climate during the day, this area allows kids and grown-ups alike a break from the sometimes scorching West Coast heat. Please note, the cottage is usually occupied by ourselves, if not booked by guests. The pool area is shared. Elands Bay is a haven for many with an abundance of wildlife and over 240 species of birds to be found in the greater Velorenvlei area. The area has a rich cultural history and still seems preserved in another era... a remedy for city life.

Once in Elands Bay take the Elands Bay South road which follows the mountain towards baboon point. After the river mouth Kreef weg is the second Right. The road turns to the left and then passes 2 houses on the left after which there is a bowl. You should see Benuela on the left if you are facing the mountain with your back to the sea.
