Manor House The luxury addition to the hotel is the recently completed Manor House. These stylishly decorated rooms are the ultimate in luxurious Winelands accommodation. Vineyard Rooms The brand new Vineyard Rooms will come on line in November 2008. The new building will house eight luxury rooms, including fire places and 12 Classic rooms with unobstructed views of the valley from their private patios and balconies. Flavours Restaurant Flavours Restaurant offers an elegant dining experience with contemporary Cape Cuisine. The restaurant has a gentle and homely ambience giving any special occasion understated elegance in a picturesque setting. The restaurant's focus is on bold flavours, celebrating classic, uncomplicated dishes and fresh, clean tastes - best described as a concept of food that is essentially simple, but where flavour always comes first.
Flavours Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week and a menu with a variety of dishes which can be paired with our award winning wine list to make any meal extraordinary. The lunch menu consists of light lunch menu items as well as specials which are changed on a daily basis to ensure variety.
Vineyard Terrace The Terrace overlooks the SylvanVale Vineyards with breathtaking views of the mountains and Stellenbosch Winelands. A full Bar and Seasonal al fresco Menu is also available. It seats 60 people and is open seven days a week between 11:00 and 19:00, weather permitting.
Cedarwood Lounge & Bar Our cosy and tastefully decorated lounge and bar, with fireplace, offers one of the most comprehensive collections of Single Malt Whiskies in the country. Light meals are served daily. The bar is open from 11:00 - 23:00, seven days a week.
SylvanVale Wine Tastings The Devon Valley Hotel is surrounded by its working vineyard. Taste our award winning SylvanVale Wines in the Cedarwood Lounge and Bar or on the Vineyard Terrace. SylvanVale Wine Tasting takes place daily from 10h00 until 20h00.

ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA Golfers have the options of numerous excellent golf courses within 10 to 30 minutes radius of the hotel namely; DevonVale, De Zalze, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Pearl Valley, Erinvale and Strand. The beautiful sandy beaches of Strand are less than 25 minutes away. Gordon`s Bay and the ever popular Bikini Beach, adjacent to the harbour and yacht club, is a further 10 minutes` drive. Boating and fishing are available from the harbour. Tutored wine tasting afternoons at the hotel or private tastings and cellar tours at many nearby estates can be arranged on request. For the more serious hiker, the Stellenbosch Vineyard Hiking Trail starts at the Sugarbird Manor, near the entrance to the Devon Valley Road and meanders through 12km or 24km of peaceful vineyards.

DIRECTIONS from the airport via the N2 & R310: From the Airport, take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West. Take Exit Number 33 off the N2 (signposted Baden Powell Drive & Stellenbosch) and continue along the R310 in the direction of Stellenbosch. Continue for another approximately 10km along the R310, passing by Spier Wine Estate on your right. You will reach a T-junction. Neethlingshof Wine Estate's tall water fountain can be seen to your left from this point. Turn right onto the R306/M12 in the direction of Stellenbosch. Continue along for another kilometre and a half and you will pass the Cape Saw Mills on your left-hand side. Turn left into the Devon Valley Road, immediately after you've passed the Cape Saw Mills. You will pass a small industrial area on your left-hand side. Continue on for about 5km on the Devon Valley Road and you will reach the hotel's main entrance on your right-hand side.
