Hands On Retreat is a Stay Spa and boutique Guest House in Craighall close to the Sandton / Hyde Park hub. It’s back to nature here: the setting is a park-like garden with flowing lawn, abundant bird life, lots of tall trees and its own river flowing through it. Guests have access to both sides of the river to enjoy the abundant bird life, to meditate or to just relax and enjoy nature at one of the many rest spots are dotted around the garden. Weather permitting, refreshments are served on the outdoor veranda with its spectacular view. Our speciality is couples. We offer anniversary and romantic breakaway and themed weekend packages transporting you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Couples are treated in private together with one another. A weekend retreat leaving the couple revitalised, revived and refreshed.

Craighall is situated in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. It’s an ideal base for business travellers to the Sandton CBD and Rosebank. It is an ideal base from which to explore the city and its surroundings. Many of the New South Africa’s landmarks are within easy reach of the Hands On Retreat. There are many top class restaurants in the vicinity. Craighall is close to Delta Park one of the major parks in the city with a bird sanctuary, walks and biking. Shopping for specialties and fashion is convenient at the close by Hyde Park shopping centre. Two of the national grocers, Woolworths and Pick and Pay are within 100m from the facility.

Coming from Sandton on William Nicol Dr towards Hyde Park Corner shopping Centre , turn right into 2nd Ave CRAIGHALL. Alternatively, coming from Hyde Park Corner shopping centre on William Nicol Dr towards Sandton, turn left into 2nd Ave CRAIGHALL. At the T-junction, turn left into Waterfall Ave. After only 10m, turn right into Talbragar Ave. After 500m, turn left into Argyle Ave. Cross both Douglas Ave and Alexandra Ave. Hands On Retreat is to your left.
