La Bohème Guesthouse is a secluded oasis of exquisite relaxed living, where the Kalahari 's fascinating beauty meets with timeless elegance, refined ethnic style and exotic bohemian inspirations. The eclectic style of La Bohème is interpreted with a harmonious combination of European, African and Oriental influences. The essence of the décor, inspired by the natural surroundings and indigenous elements, reflects a subtle fusion of refined classic finishes and creative artistic expressions. Color touches as vibrant as the African sunsets add spice to the soft creamy and earthy tones echoed throughout the property. Soothing water features, relaxing music and delicate lighting emphasize the blissful and cosy atmosphere of this inviting retreat.

ACCOMMODATION La Bohème Guesthouse offers two rooms in the residence (Unit No 1 & 2) and a Cottage (Unit No 3) with two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and self-catering facilities. Decorated and furnished with flair, meticulous attention to detail and a personal signature, the three stylish rooms/units of the Guesthouse feature a wide range of amenities and modern facilities. Each room/unit offers Orange River Valley and/or garden views and is directly accessible from the garden via its own private terrace or verandah.

MEALS The generous breakfast (buffet) is usually served on the verandah overlooking the garden and the Valley or in the dining room nearby the cosy fire place in winter. Several additional breakfast options available (picnic basket, champagne brunch, breakfast served in room, etc.). Daytime snacks, afternoon tea with cake, sundowners, self-catering option. For other meals: restaurants, bistros, pubs, etc. within 3 to 10 minutes drive.

FROM KAKAMAS – AUGRABIES - GROBLERSHOOP – CAPETOWN - FROM UPINGTON TOWN CENTER : If driving from Upington town center, take “Schröderstreet” in direction of Olifantshoek (N14). Pass under the rail wail bridge and pass the “Camel Rider Monument” situated in front of the police-station. Carry on straight until a crossing road situated in front of the “Gordonia Hospital” and keep on driving straight on the N14. 3.9 km after the “Gordonia Hospital”, the sign-boards “Golf-course” and “Desert Palace” (= Casino Hotel Resort) can be seen on the left-hand side of the road (N14). 400 m after these above-mentioned sign-boards, a high bunch of palm trees is situated on the right-hand side of the road. Drive up into the small street on the right-hand side of the N14, between the high bunch of palm trees and “Naba-Lodge”. Pass in front of “Naba” ‘s main entrance and turn immediately left into the small street at the corner of “ Naba” ‘s garden. “La Bohème” is visible within a few meters distance. High trees are in front of “La Bohème” ’s premises and a tall Vodacom tower (= a giant palm tree) is situated at the end of the “cul-de-sac” street, close to “La Bohème”. FROM KURUMAN, OLIFANTSHOEK, JOHANNESBURG, VRYBURG(WITHOUT DRIVING UNTIL UPINGTON TOWN-CENTER): If driving on the N14 from Kuruman, Johannesburg, Olifantshoek, Vryburg, pass “Brown's Manor” (situated on the left-hand side of the road) just at the beginning of Upington Syianda district. 100 m after “Brown's Manor”, a high bunch of palm trees is situated on the left-hand side of the road, as well as a small street. Drive up into the small street on the left-hand side of the N14, between the high bunch of palm trees and “Naba-Lodge”. Pass in front of “Naba” ‘s main entrance and turn immediately left into the small street at the corner of “ Naba” ‘s garden. “La Bohème” is visible within a few meters distance. High trees are in front of “La Bohème” ’s premises and a tall Vodacom tower (= a giant palm tree) is situated at the end of the “cul-de-sac” street, a short distance from “La Bohème”.
