Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is an elegant lodge perched on the hillside below lion's head in the most exclusive bay on the Atlantic seaboard. Bantry bay and part of neighbouring clifton, both completely sheltered from the often merciless south easter winds, are indeed the most coveted corners of the cape peninsula. The lodge provides a tranquil and luxurious haven, while cape town's main attractions, the v&a waterfront and table mountain are only a short drive away. clifton?s famous beaches are within walking distance. Les Cascades de Bantry bay boasts ten luxurious rooms of different sizes in two adjacent properties; six in the main lodge and four in the villa. All rooms incorporate strong elements of contemporary art, latticed shutters covering large bay windows and private balconies overlooking the ocean. There are three pools, the largest being sixty square metres, superb sun decks with sweeping sea views and a romantic indonesian style bal?, all designed for maximum comfort and intimacy. All six luxurious and very spacious en-suite rooms in the main lodge have private balconies with comfortable sun beds and cosy sitting corners. Each fully air-conditioned room has a separate en-suite shower and bath, and all rooms are furnished with king size beds and have generous seating arrangements. Standard room accessories include satellite TV, a CD player, telephone, mini bar, hair dryers, heated towel rails and an electronic safe. The architecture and d?cor have distinct Bali-style influences enhanced with warm earthy hues, and soft furnishings in brown and beige. Comfortable colonial furniture and object d'art set the tone for a relaxed stay. The Villa consists of three double en-suite rooms and one two-roomed junior suite. All four rooms offer the same features as the main lodge. However, the decor reflects a more contemporary style, enhanced with details such as philip stark design bath tubs, stainless steel trimmings in combination with chiselled sand stone, exposed wooden beams and game skins. It is modern and comfortable.
