Nibela Lodge situated in one of Africas World Heritage Sites, with a unique diversity of scenery, fauna and flora forming part of the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park. Eleven thatched chalets, cradled high up in the forest, are equipped with every creature comfort.
Each Chalet is inter-connected by spectacular raised wooden walkways that lead to the prestigious main complex. Guides are available for informative and exciting trails
spotting small game, abundant birdlife and marvel at ancient fossils. Quad-biking or visits to the Mangwazi caves can also be undertaken. The convenient location of Nibela Lodge means that it can offer offsite tours to surrounding Game Reserves to spot the ?Big
Five?, beautiful beaches, deep sea fishing and diving on a number of reefs, mountain trails, cultural activities and a number of historical sites.

Nibela Lodge Directions
From Johannesburg:
Follow the route trough Bethal, Ermelo and Piet Retief then through Pongola taking the N2 South bound to Hluhluwe.
From Durban:
Follow the N2 north bound to Hluhluwe.
Travel through Hluhluwe town, at the fourth traffic circle turn left.
Travel for, 1 km turn right crossing over railway tracks; you are now on the Sodwana road (R22). (Nibela Lake Lodge road sign)
On the Sodwana road, you will travel for 26 km’s. Be on the look out for a road sign / number L554 at the sign turn off to your right onto a dirt road.
Please do not exceed the 60 km speed limit.
Travel on the dirt road till it splits into three.
Turn on the most right road passing the Nibela Tuck Shop and Local Bottle Store (green sign indicating Nibela / Sobhengu).
Travel to a T- junction; turn right (green sign Nibela / Sobhengu).
Travel for 13 km’s. The road ends at the Nibela / Sobhengu gate.
Inside the property, please follow the Nibela Reception signs to the reception area.
