On departure from the main terminal, take the R21 out of the airport. 2.. After approx 5km, take the N12 to Witbank. You will pass Boksburg, Benoni and Springs. 3. The N12 joins the N4 at Witbank. Continue on this road past Witbank and through the Middelburg toll gate (approximately half way to Old Joe's Kaia). 4. Still on the N4, continue past Belfast and Machadodorp until you reach the Machado Toll Plaza. 5. Approx 1 km after this Toll Plaza, the N4 splits. Keep to the left and follow the sign that reads N4 via Schoemanskloof /R36 Lydenburg. (Note that old maps show this road as the R539 or R104). Take the odometer reading in your car at this point. 6. Now continue on the N4 Schoemanskloof road (enjoy the scenery!). (Do not take the R36 Lydenburg turn off approx 16km from the N4 split.) 7. 42km from the N4 split you will encounter the Old Joe's Kaia road sign. The guesthouse lies on the left hand side of the road. Enjoy your Journey and travel safely!
