Situated on the water’s edge of the Knysna Lagoon with uninterupted views of the lagoon, the river and the Outeniqua Mountains. Our two and three bedroom wooden log chalets are well appointed with wide shaded wooden verandas and large entertainment areas. All the bedrooms are en-suite and each chalet has a Weber and gas barbeque, mini libraries and television sets. On-site facilities include canoe, fishing boats and houseboats day rentals and for those wishing to bring their own boat we provide moorings. Guest facilities include a swimming pool, shaded parking and a laundry service. Situated six kilometres from Knysna central and with-in easy distance of the beaches at Brenton-on-Sea, Buffelsbay, the Outenique Mountains and the famous Knysna Forests where elephants still roam free. Known as the “Crows Nest” our conference venue can seat up to 50 delegates comfortably. Our venue offers a rustic feeling and is situated in a beautiful garden with views of the Knysna Lagoon. Our units are equipped for self-catering but our off-site caterers can supply picnic baskets, breakfast and suppers. From Port Elizabeth you take the N2 through to Knysna, once in Knysna, you stay on the N2 and come through Knysna along the lagoon for +- 7 km’s. The first bridge you get is the white bridge. You cross that bridge and directly at the end of it there is a turn-off to your right hand side with a sign that say “Brenton-On-Sea/Belvidere”. You take that turn-off and you will see our jetty on your right hand side and at your left hand side you will find a driveway with a big Lightleys sign above. From Cape Town you take the N2 through to Knysna. You will drive through George, Wilderness and Sedgefield. About 5km before you get Knysna is a bridge (The White Bridge). At this bridge is a turn-off to your left hand side where the sign show “Brenton-On-Sea/Belvidere” As you take this turn-off you will see our jetty on your right hand side and at your left hand side you will find the entrance to Lightleys Holiday Houseboats office.
