Platbos log cabins Description
Three secluded and private log cabins overlooking a large dam. Situated in a magnificent secret valley on the slopes of the Slanghoek mountains. Come appreciate and enjoy the silence and tranquility we can offer. NB!!! These log cabins are only reachable by bakkie or 4x4. Each log cabin has an open-plan kitchen and living area. Two bedrooms each have queen size beds and there is a loft with two single beds. Shower and toilet. Gas, solar and battery power only. No open fires permitted, gas braai provided on the verandah.

From Cape Town take the N1 to Paarl, through Du Toitskloof, turn right to Rawsonville on the R101. On the R101, drive until you reach the first road crossing. Turn left here (look for the Slanghoek road sign). Drive for about 10km, past Goudini Spa, past Slanghoek Wine Cellar, past Opstal Estate until you reach the Slanghoek Mountain Resort sign on your right. From Pretoria on the N1, pass Worcester, pass Shell Ultra City and then turn left to Rawsonville at the R101 turnoff. On the R101 drive until you reach the second road crossing. Turn right here (look for the Slanghoek roadsign). Drive for about 10km, past Goudini Spa, past Slanghoek Wine Cellar, Past Opstal Estate until you reach the Slanghoek Mountain Resort sign on your right.
