Ruby’s Country Cottage consists of 3 Bedrooms all en-suite. (2 Queen Beds & 1 King Size Bed) 3 Televisions, full DSTV, CD & DVD Player. The Cottage also has two Airconditioners, a Five Plate Gas hob with Electric Oven and a Built-in Braai on the Patio. Ruby’s Country Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen – Fridge, Microwave, all cooking utensils including Crockery & Cutlery.

McGregor is a charming little village tucked away at the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains with so much to offer. This precious little diamond will surely steal your heart away as you experience her wonderful History, Culture and Tradition. Everything about McGregor is unforgettable. From the scenic drive out of Cape Town on the N1 into the Winelands District of Robertson – the R62; this mere 2 hour drive is filled with spectacular landscapes and Majestic Mountain passes. The birthright and landscape of this town is venerated by most and today there are established societies who oversee and protect the original footprints of many of the dwellings ensuring that these properties remain in their original form wherever possible allowing McGregor to preserve its sacred heritage. With a population of approximately 3 500 people, it comes as no surprise that the town folk are friendly and incredibly hospitable. Those who live abroad for part of the year are welcomed back ‘home’ with wholesome heartiness and it is not uncommon to be greeted by all and sundry each time you venture outdoors. Quaint stores and general dealers line the main road and hidden between bouquets of spectacular flora you are sure to stumble across the intimate coffee shops, decadent deli’s and gourmet eateries which are guaranteed to delight your senses!

How to get there:- Travelling North from Cape Town on the N1 take the R62 towards Robertson. Once in Robertson take the McGregor turnoff. Travel approx 20 kms to McGregor. Ruby's country Cottage is in the Main Road of McGregor. No. 77 Voortrekker Street.
