One of the highlights of your stay will be the "hands-on" farm tour with Neels … feeding the ostriches, watching the working dogs (Border Kollie and Australian Kelpie) work with the sheep, ostriches or Nguni cattle. Our 2 Rooms, 1 Suite with heated spa bath, 1 Studio and 4 Cottages have all you need to feel pampered: Honesty Bar, Tea and Coffee making facilities, En suite bathrooms with strong showers, Heater, Ceiling fan, Electric blankets, Ostrich leather slippers and gown, Hair dryers and good South African Port (on the house!) to enjoy on the patio as a sundowner. 6 of the rooms and cottages have fireplaces for real cosiness in winter. From Swellendam take the N2 towards Mossel Bay. 45 km after Swellendam farm signed to the left. Follow the tar road for 2 km. Farm then signed left onto a gravel road. 3 more km and another left turn. House on hill. From Heidelberg take the N2 towards Swellendam. 12 km after Heidelberg farm signed right. Follow the tar road for 2 km. Farm then signed left onto a gravel road. 3 more km and another left turn. House on hill. From Barrydale take the R324 through the Tradouw pass towards Suurbraak. Coming out of the mountain pass you will come to a T-junction. Turn left towards Heidelberg. (The tar road become a gravel road after a few kilometers.) Follow this road towards Heidelberg for 13,5 km. Farm signed right. Turn right and follow the road for 4 km. Farm then signed right again. House on hill.
