AREA INFORMATION
St James is a residential suburb,situated on the False Bay coast between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay.
St James was the site of the original Whaling Station for Kalk Bay and was named after the Catholic Church which was built in 1859.
Many of the "Rand" Baron's had their holidays here including Cecil John Rhodes. Today their homes are National Monuments, some of which are open to the Public.
Whale watch (May to November), take leisurely strolls along the promenade, sun bathe on the beach, or go fishing from land or sea.
Play Golf at one of the two Golf Courses nearby, approximately 5Kms north or south or perhaps, a set or two of Tennis to prepare your appetite for Dinner.
There many excellent restaurants within walking distance, you can of course take the car if you prefer.
Easy access to all major Tourist attractions e.g. Table Mountain, Cape Point and the Winelands, and a wide variety of interesting places in and around the Western Cape

Directions from Cape Town International Airport
On exiting Airport take N2 to Cape Town.
Continue on the N2, the Athlone Power Station will be on your
Right.
Drive over the Fly-over Bridge, and pass under the next one.
The Sign will indicate left (M3) Kirstenbosch Gardens/Muizenberg
The road rises up to the foothills of Devils Peak, veer left
onto M3.
Stay on the M3, pass the UCT on your right, stay on the M3
through the suburbs over Wynberg Hill and into the Constantia Valley
continue through Tokai, right to the end of the M3.
Veer left onto M42, follow it down to the traffic lights, turn right onto M4 (S).
This is the Main Road, towards Muizenberg. At Muizenberg Railway station the sea will be on your left, continue to the St James Railway Station. (+- 1, 5 KM)
+- 250m from the St James Station, turn right into Capri Road.
We are on the corner of Capri & Main Road.
Sonnekus is a large, white Colonial style house.
