Located in the sunny Eastern Cape of South Africa, the laid back village of Kenton-on-Sea offers some of the best beaches in country. The Oyster Shack has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate groups from 1 to 8 people. Please note – there is no sea or river view from The Oyster Shack, you can hear the ocean and it will only take you a couple of minutes to walk to the beach!! 

 Master Suite
 The master Suite is a large a spacious bedroom complete with large Plasma TV with full DStv, private sitting room, antique cupboard, french doors that lead into a balcony over looking the landscaped garden and swimming pool. This bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with ball and claw bath, crystal chandelier, large separate shower, twin basins, shavers point, Mungo towels and linen bath robes Bedroom 2
 Also a large and spacious queen bedroom, with large armchair for those lazy afternoons. French doors that lead out onto the balcony overlooking the swimming pool and landscaped garden.

 Bedroom 3 
A queen sized bedroom with en-suite. This bedroom is wonderful in the afternoons as the sun streams in. The bedroom has french door that lead onto the courtyard.

 Bedroom 4 
A bedroom with 2 single beds, this room is perfect for children.

 There is a open plan Kitchen / Lounge / Dining room it has everything you could possible need for a luxury stay from large free standing 6 burner gas cooker, handmade dinnerware, Ipod docking station, large 47 inch Plasma TV with full DSTV. There are also 2 outdoor dinning areas for relaxing and entertaining, you have a choice of either a woodburning BBQ or a Webber Kettle BBQ

Kenton-on-Sea is located on the coast in the Eastern Cape, which is at the bottom tip of South Africa, and importantly, MALARIA FREE. Kenton is a popular seaside resort with a vibrant atmosphere in season, but beautifully tranquil and peaceful out of season, which is most of the year. Kenton is renowned for some of the best beaches and protected coves on South Africa's coast and affords guests with attractive walking, hiking, fishing, boating, canoeing, surfing and kiting opportunities. Kenton also is a very popular wedding venue with its beautiful coves and white sandy beaches.

The surrounding areas are home to numerous game reserves stocked with the big 5. In addition, the towns surrounding Kenton are steeped in history as some of the earliest settlers dating back to the 1820's landed on these shores. These towns now have thriving arts and crafts and home cottage industries.

Kenton on Sea is located 135km from Port Elizabeth Airport and 165km from East London Airport.



From Port Elizabeth: Take the N2 to East London. At Nanaga Farm Stall, follow the N2 off-ramp and shortly after, take the R72 coastal road to Alexandria and Port Alfred. You drive through Alexndria after almost 50kms, and then, after another 25kms, turn right into Kenton just after crossing the Bushman's River. From Grahamstown: Take the N2 to Port Elizabeth. After approx12kms turn left onto the R343 heading for Kenton-on-Sea and Salem. after about 10 kms turn left in Salem staying on the tar road. After about 35kms you reach a 4 way crossing with the R72. Go straight into Kenton. Once in Kenton: Take the 3rd right into Ocean Drive, pass a road to the right and a road to the left. Continue straight through the staggered 4-way-junction with the yellow island. Then take third right into Fowler Road. The Oyster Shack is No3 on the right almost at the end of the block.
