Umhlanga Rocks, just 15km north of Durban, is one of the premier holiday sites in South Africa. Umbrella Tree House is a delightful little self-contained Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Umhlanga suburbs. With beautiful sea views and in close proximity to all the major attractions and business areas, this is the perfect spot for holidaymakers and business people. We have 3 double rooms, each with a balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. All rooms are en-suite with shower and bath. Each room has TV, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a lounge and dining room which is completely separate from the main residence with DStv in the lounge. Outside is a lovely wooden deck beneath the trees perfect for relaxation. SELF-CATERING Entire B&B is available as a self-catering cottage sleeping 6. Includes all bed linen and bath towels, no swimming towels. Umhlanga is a coastal holiday village. Great weather, warm seas and beautiful beaches make it a wonderful holiday spot. Loads of restaurants make eating out easy and Gateway Shopping Centre with all its attractions provides plenty of choice for things to do. Other attractions within a 20 minute drive are Durban main beaches, Ushaka Marine World, Mount Edgecombe Golf Course, Zimbali Golf course, Sibaya casino, Suncoast casino, Crocodile farm, fishing, diving, dolphine viewing and much more. We are about 2km from the Umhlanga Ridge business centre, 20 minutes from Durban city centre, ICC (International Convention Centre), 10 minutes from Virginia airport, 35 minutes from Durban International Airport.

Travelling North on the N2 take the Umhlanga off-ramp, turn right over N2, go under the white arched Millennium Bridge, take the next off-ramp up to Umhlanga Rocks Drive. Turn left. Go straight through two traffic circles. Pass Sharks Board on your left. After Sharks Board, first right into Royal Palm (white tiled wall). First left into Windsor (fountain T-junction), first right into Pearl. Down to T-junction which is Hilken Drive. Opposite the stop are two gates. We are the left hand gate, sign outside for Umbrella Tree House Travelling North on the M4 take the Umhlanga off-ramp, turn left (Grace Church on left). At first robot (entrance to Umhlanga Manors on left) turn right into Westridge, up to T-junction, follow road to the right. Down to T-junction, turn left into Hilken, follow road to right again, past shops, we are on right hand side. See sign on pavement for Umbrella Tree House.
