Flatdogs Camp Description
In 2000, Flatdogs Camp opened and offers chalet rooms on a par with the upmarket lodges, at a fraction of the price, as well as camping (low season only from 2009) and self-catering facilities for the more self contained travelers. The Luangwa Valley and all of its magic is now open to all! The quality of our guiding is of the highest standard and with its great diversity of mammals, both large and small, and over 400 bird species, the South Luangwa is a spectacle not to be missed. At Flatdogs we pride ourselves on offering accommodation to rival the up-market lodges, at a fraction of the cost. Our accommodation options include luxurious chalet rooms, our Jackal-Berry Tree House, Ensuite Safari Tents and of course the best situated camp site in the South Luangwa, with plenty of space for overland groups and separate sites for private campers. Camping is possible until 30th June 2009 and then is closed until 1st November 2009.
AREA INFORMATION

Bird species total an incredible , particularly from Dec-Mar each year during the breeding season.
