Shackletons is Zambia's premier venue for Tiger fishing, bream fishing and birding. Situated on the Upper Zambezi River at Mwandi, 140 km west of Livingstone and 60 km east of Sesheke. Only 3 hours travel from Johannesburg International. Shackleton's standards exceed those set internationally. The lodge is small, sleeping 12 people, ensuring privacy and focused hospitality. There are 6 double, ensuite chalets, with private decks which face on to spectacular views of the Zambezi River.

By Air: South African Airways, British Airways and Nationwide Air offer daily flights between Johannesburg International Airport (South Africa) and Livingstone International Airport (Zambia). Transfers: Shackletons provides vehicle transfers from Livingstone International Airport to the Lodge and back. The cost of the return trip is R450 per person. By Road: Shackletons is easily accessible on the Livingstone/Sesheke Road (M10), a newly tarred road that connects Livingstone and Sesheke. The turn-off to Shackletons is 140 km from Livingstone (Zambia) or 55 km from Sesheke (Zambia).
