MIOMBO LODGE Description
Experience the wonders of the African bush, up close and personal, with us at Miombo Lodge. We would love to share with you one of Zimbabwe’s best kept secrets.
Miombo Lodge is situated on the eastern border of Hwange National Park, the largest Park in Zimbabwe occupying more than 14,500 square kilometers in the north-western corner of the country. The area enjoys the highest concentration of wildlife and is famed for its large herds of elephant. Hwange’s elephant population is estimated at 30,000.
Miombo is a quirky and intimate place which remains a popular destination for those travellers wishing to combine a safari in Hwange with a visit to the mighty Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders).
You will be hosted at Miombo by husband and wife team Simon & Gladys, a warm and caring couple who love what they do and are committed to making your stay with them a memorable one. Miombo offers flexibility to clients who can decide on their own individual meal and activity schedule, just let us know how best we can help you.
Highlights of Miombo include the amazing sounds of the surrounding wildlife and the private watering hole only metres away from the main lodge area.
