The Cape Peninsula is the region that encompases the area from Cape Town Harbour all the way down to the Cape of Good Hope. In the 75km stretch are most of the scenic drives and tourist attractions to be found in South Africa. The beautiful coastline offers a constant dramatic backdrop of mountains and the mystery of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Peninsula has been famous since the days of the Poruguese explorers and is a wonderfully diverse region. There are more indigenous flora on the peninsula than in the entire UK. The region also boasts wonderful wild life, and a trip to the Table Mountain National Park is essential to you visit.

In between The V&A Waterfront and The Cape of Good Hope lies a treasure chest of things to do and see. The accommodation choices are also incrediably varied from basic backpackers to 5 star hotels, luxury lodges and guest houses. The hospitality in the Cape Peninsula is second to none and youll be made to feel at home.

Some of the suburbs in the area you have to visit include Hout Bay, Noordhoek,  Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay. Each of these villages have their own unique appeal and a host of sights and sounds. There are hundreds of tour operators in the peninsula, and anything is possable.

The options vary from township tours to a adrenalin rush in a old fighter jet. The V&A Waterfront is a popular choice, but can be over priced and over crowded. There are loads of information centres in and around the peninsula that highlight fun things to do, as there are too many to mention.

Come and Visit this magical part of the World, youll leave a rejuvinated induvidual, as the Peninsula tends to bring you in touch with nature, and yourself.
