Mutare, capital of the Manicaland province, is the fourth largest city in Zimbabwe and affectionately known as “Zimbabwe’s gateway to the Sea”. The city is located about 8 kilometers from the Mozambican border and lies on the rail line between Beira and Bulawayo. The city is home to a large population of Shona people, with the majority of them speaking the Manyika dialect.
