Cape Agulhas, is a little fishing village located at the Southern most tip of Africa and is also the meeting point between the Atlantic and Indian oceans. The point is also famous for having a treacherous coastline and many ships has been sunk in the old days. A quaint little village has a maritime feel and the lighthouse, the second oldest working lighthouse in the country. The 71 steps o the top and unique museum attracts a lot of visitors to the area.

The Cape Agulhas National Park is well worth a visit, and overlaps the Southern most point of Africa. The surrounding towns of Bredasdorp, Napier and Waenhuiskrans/Arniston are all in close proximity and have their own unique charm and is well worth a visit. The scenic views when traveling in this region will have you stare out the window and not even notice the time.
