The Great Brak River is halfway between Mossel Bay and George and a jewel on the Garden Route. The town is at the mouth of the Great Brak River, hence the name. Close in proximity to all the highlights of the Garden Route, you’ll find a heavenly place where you can relax. The most of the activities are outdoor based and there is some of the best fishing spots in South Africa.
The time spent relaxing in Great Brak River and adjoining Little Brak River will be well deserved. These towns are smaller and thus more laid back than Hartenbos, witch sometime has too many people and things going on that even gets a bit much for the locals. The beautiful Indian Ocean is a constant and the Garden Route is definitely one of South Africa’s top holiday destinations.
