The Central South region in Namibia is home to the Fish River Canyon. This is Namibia's second most popular tourist attrction and also the sceond largest canyon in the world. This region in a surreal wilderness with peculiar plants and animals that inhabit it. THe region is also where you'll find Karasburg and Keetmanshoop and the region is home to the Namibian sheep farming industry. Both mutton and wool is cultivated in these areas. The Southern part of Namibia is noted for it's extreme tempratures. It can get easily get above 45 degress celcius during the day.
