EXPLORE Kruger National Park (Limpopo)

The Kruger National Park needs no introduction. The most famous of all of South African attractions the park is a haven for nature lovers and enthusiasts of wildlife. The 18,989 square kilometer park is home to the big 5, an additional 142 mammals and about 517 bird species. The mighty Limpopo River flows through parts of the park.

The Kruger National Park is located in the north east of South Africa and occupies parts of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. The savannah grassland of this part of the country is the ideal conditions to watch wildlife and experience Africa. The level of luxury in some of the lodges is unprecedented and you won’t even think that you’re in the bushveld. There is however choice and anything from a caravan park to 5 star hotels is available is the wilderness.

The Kruger National Park, along with the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town is the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa. The park is also in close proximity to Mozambique and great choices to see both in one go. The closest city is Nelspruit, and Mpumalanga is a beautiful province. The abundance of wildlife and natural beauty of the corner of the world will inspire and amaze.
