Waterberg District is a region situated in the Limpopo Province of South African and it encompasses popular tourist destinations such as Bela Bela, Thabazimbi and Modimolle.

The Waterberg District boasts being home to the Waterberg Biosphere which is a UNESCO certified reserve. The Bioshpere is characterized by spectecular rock formations that form intriguing bluffs and other landforms. Wateberg District is also popular for the abundance of forests and bushveld that any nature lover would appreciate. With a long standing history of the local people, the district is also well known for archeological findings of the Stone Age people and the origin of humans.
