Beestekraal is a small farming town in the Eastern region of the North West Province of South Africa.

The town is best known for its bushveld wilderness with an abundant wildlife and birdlife. The town also boasts a vast plain of grasslands and a number of plants and trees can be discovered. The best places to discover this unspoillt wilderness are the Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve and the Dikhololo Private Game Reserve.
