Otjiwarongo is a city in the Otjozundjupa Region of Namibia. Its name means “place where fat cattle graze” and was derived from the city’s pouring opportunities for prosperity. 

Otjiwarongo is the capital city of the region and is one of busiest cities offering excellent facilities such as banks, supermarkets and hospitals. The city is a 2-hour drive from Windhoek, Tsumeb, Otavi, Grootfontein and the Etosha National Park making it very central and a perfect holiday destination.  The city is conveniently located within major transport links, one of them being the TransNamib railway. Otjiwarongo is also along the B6 which is easily connected to the N1 making it easier to travel from travel from South Africa.
