EXPLORE Outjo

Outjo, meaning place on the rocks or little/cone shaped hills, is a town situated in Northern Namibia that is set between low hills of the Ugab valley. This eroded valley has spectacular rock formations and consists mostly of woodland, bushveld and savannah vegetation.

This small town is mostly known as a stopover for travellers on their way to the Etosha National Park, the Skeleton Coast, Damaraland or the Koakoveld. Outjo has much more to offer other than being just a stopover town. Some the big attractions include the Naulila Monument, the Water Tower, Franke Haus Museum, Ugab Rock Ringer, Petrified Forest and of course, the Etosha National Park.

Next time you approach this area, don’t just drive by. Stay and explore Outjo.

Guest Story: A perfect family beach holiday in Plettenberg Bay

Robberg Beach Lodge

What a beautiful Lodge, excellent service (5 star), location is one of the best in this country. We received outstanding service from a team that exceeded every need we had as a family. The breakfast is outstanding and they catered for my children's needs which included items not on the normal breakfast menu.
