EXPLORE Muizenberg

Muizenberg is situated in the southern suburbs of Cape Town and is popular for its colorful mix of architecture and history as well as its golden beaches, where many flock to during the summer.

The colorful changing rooms that line the beach have been seen on many post cards and has become an iconic image. Muizenberg is a popular surf spot for locals, there are even surfing schools for those who want to give the sport a try. There are many other activities to keep you busy when you visit Muizenberg, such as the coastal walk from Muizenberg to Kalk Bay – this walk also includes the historical mile. The historical mile  features some beautiful builds such as the SA police Museum, Het Posthuys and Natale Labia which date bat to the mid-17th century and is one of the oldest buildings in South Africa.
False Bay's beaches are synonymous with surfing and many of the fraternity would have cut their fins at this birthplace of surfing, so to speak. The colorful changing rooms grace many a postcard and the beaches stretch for miles - popular with families and one of the few beaches that demonstrates a noticeable integration of the different people of South Africa.
Even though Muizenberg is a small suburb, it still has many restuarnts, a theaters and many littles along the sidewalks, the suburbs is also a short drive away from Cape Town city center and the popular Atlantic seaboard

Robberg Beach Lodge

What a beautiful Lodge, excellent service (5 star), location is one of the best in this country. We received outstanding service from a team that exceeded every need we had as a family. The breakfast is outstanding and they catered for my children's needs which included items not on the normal breakfast menu.
