Halcyon, Plettenberg Bay, offers elegant four-star guesthouse accommodation with sea-views within 3 minute's walk of Robberg Beach. The guesthouse has spacious living areas, and its facilities include swimming pool, private bar area with pool table and satelite tv, garage parking and broadband internet connection. The guesthouse is situated a on a quiet road, and is within 5 minute drive of many restaurants. (Taxis are also available).
Breakfast and VAT are included in our rates. We have rooms at three different rates:
1) The Kingfisher Suite offers spacious private accommodation. It's main feature is the beautiful sea and Tsitsikamma Mountain views it affords from the bedroom and balcony. Its other advantage is its large bathroom (pictured in the image-gallery) which is equipped with spa bath, double shower and bidet. In addition the separate dressing room (done in beech and cherrywood) reinforces the sense of privacy. The Kingfisher Suite has most conveniences you would expect in a "suite" - kingsize bed, tv, DVD player, undercarpet and under-tile heating throughout, a workstation, as well as fan , safe and hairdryer.
2) The Nautilus Rooms is a two-bedroom unit suitable for parties of three or four travelling together. The rooms are serviced by a modern bathroom and shower room. Both bedrooms have lovely sea-views. Both have twinbed/kingsize bed functionality, tv, DVD player, fan, safe and hairdryer. The one bedroom has a private balcony where the group can assemble. (This Unit can also be booked by a single couple, or two single people travellng together.)
3) The Coral Room is Halcyon's budget room. A simple small double room with en-suite shower and toilet, the room looks into a garden courtyard. The Coral Room is ideal for a single traveller, or an active couple. Please note, the Coral Room does not have sea views.
Halcyon tries to cater particularly to guests wanting to explore the Garden Route for three-five days using one place as a base. We believe Plettenberg Bay is beautifully situated to experience the Garden Route from Knysna through to Tsitisikamma without checking in and out of different establishments each night. We offer a 5% disocunt for a 3 or 4 night stay, 10% for a 5 or 6 night stay, and 15% for a 7day+ stay.
