At Bela Vista Lodge, we aim to provide our guests not only with luxury, style and comfort, but also a complete feeling of home from home. When you walk into one of our spacious, open plan, exclusively designed houses, you'll feel like you never want to leave...

Located on the sand dunes overlooking beautiful Barra beach and lagoon in Inhambane Province, Mozambique, Bela Vista Lodge offers high quality accommodation, exquisite views and first class service in a beautiful setting.

The accommodation at Bela Vista Lodge currently consists of 4 luxury houses, one 3-bedroom and four 5-bedroom. The houses are open-plan, spacious and airy and have been designed with the surrounding environment in mind.

The split level decks and lounges provide various comfortable outside areas to relax, with hammocks and cushions everywhere. There is a spacious braai deck with plenty of room for friends and family, plus a fully equipped kitchen. The two double bedrooms downstairs share a sumptuous bathroom with sunken bath and both open out directly onto the front and back decks through glass doors.

Upstairs is another comfortable deck with great sea and lagoon views and 3 additional bedrooms, each with two single daybeds and shared bathroom. There is an outside shower for enjoying the star filled Mozambican night sky.

The houses are luxuriously appointed with high quality percale linen, quality crockery and kitchen ware, fans in all rooms and hammocks for chilled afternoons. The houses are serviced daily.Rates subject to change.

Barra is a stretch of wide, white sandy beach, fringed with coconut palms and rolling surf and is the ideal base from which to enjoy the many activities on offer such as world class scuba diving and surfing, horse riding through the countryside, bird watching in the mangroves and lagoon or just lazing on the beach, sipping a cocktail or cold beer and enjoying the world renowned excellent sea-food on offer.
