Bush Baby Lodge & Camping is an ideal stop over from Etosha to Northern Namibia, Caprivi and Bushmanland. The aim of Bush Baby lodge and camping is to give our guest a feel of Africa by keeping everything as natural as possible, with an appreciation for luxury as well. The materials used for our facilities are all from the farm or from close surrounding areas. The lounging area of Bush Baby Camping consists of a lapa with a bar, swimming pool and a big fireplace close to a large floodlit waterhole. All guests can observe their favorite animal species coming in for a drink in the evenings. Many bird species can be seen up close, while you enjoy a cold drink. Make sure to look up… the squirrels and vervet monkeys may be seen roaming around in the trees and you lucky ones may even see the lesser bushbabies at night. Three luxury bush tents are available in the midst of a forested area where tropical plants grow abundantly and birds and small mammals make their home. A natural canopy makes the area shady and cool at all times. Each of the tents has its own open air bathroom and two single beds. Small fire places by the tent invite camping guests to spent leisurely evenings talking and dreaming. The camping field invites campers to set up their tent at will, on one of the sites. A power point and water supply is made available to you. One is also welcome to set up their tent at any other spot in the field. Not to worry, there is an ablution block with several toilets and hot showers within a stone’s throw away. Game drives occur in the mornings and afternoons. You may prefer the afternoons, as more animals can be seen then. A drive can take at least 2 hours, but can be extended with a sundowner on top of one of our beautiful hills. We cater meals upon booking and we sell seasonable vegetables, homemade preserves, fire wood, game meat and homemade sausage for your barbeque.

We are situated in the heart of a 3,000 ha (30 km²) farm in the bush savannah and our landscape is filled with variety. We have big open fields with lots of game, mountains for sensational views over the wide African land and of course the acacia bush, with all the browsers one can imagine.
