The lounge, dining room, and kitchen are open plan and have wonderful close uninterrupted views of the ocean and the mountains as they track the coast to the south. The colour theme throughout is the light subtle hues of sand and sea. From the front door it is 20 paces to the beach and tidal pool. It has access to a communal swimming pool and garden and is within walking distance of restaurants, sidewalk cafes, shops and fashionable night spots and all amenities. An internet café is a two minute walk away. The bed rooms are light and airy with light wood floors. Each room is equipped with a double bed and upmarket bed room and bath room linen. The kitchen is light, bright and fully equipped. Equipment includes hob, oven microwave, fridge/deepfreeze, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, vacuum cleaner and the usual smaller appliances. Other facilities offered are satellite television (optional extra @ R25/night), fans and heaters throughout, a safe, and access controlled secure parking for one car. Mountain walks, Table Mountain Cable Car, the V&A, and Hout Bay Harbour are all between 5 and 15 minutes away. The Constantia and Tokai wine lands are 20 minutes away. Brighton Court is the ideal place to stay if you want to explore Cape Town and surroundings and go to the Theatre, as we did. There is no need for a car as it is just a few steps to the beach, and all amenities (restaurants, beach bars, chemist, food stores, gym, Theatre on the Bay etc.) are just a short beach (minutes) walk away. 10 minutes by car takes you to the world renowned V&A Waterfront and in 30 minutes one is the Winelands. Take a helicopter or luxury boat tour of the peninsula from Hout Bay or the Cape Town Harbour ? both 15 minutes away by car. Sip a glass of wine and dine with friends while overlooking the beach; read a book whilst lazing on the lawn next to the beach or swim in the sea or in the rock pool directly in front of the apartment. Walk or jog for miles on the mountains (12 Apostles) or along the coast to Bakoven and Llandudno. Gym facilities one minute?s walk from your doorstep. This is hang gliding, kayaking and surfing country. The apartment has uninterrupted sea views where one can watch the summer sun set over the Atlantic Ocean as the evening envelopes the bay.

Directions from CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to 10 Brighton Court in Camps Bay Take the N2 (EASTERN BOULEVARD) to CAPE TOWN and as you approach the city, follow the signs to Sea Point. At the first set of traffic lights at the end of the highway, with the Waterfront on your right and the Cullinan Hotel on your left, ignore the signs to Sea Point and remain in the middle lane travelling on the M62. Travel straight on the M62 (up Buitengracht Street which becomes Kloofnek Road) towards the TABLE MOUNTAIN CABLEWAY/CAMPS BAY. At the top of Kloofnek Road, ignore the left turn to the Cableway and the right turn to Signal Hill, and continue on the M62 downhill into CAMPS BAY. Keep going downhill; until you reach the end of Camps Bay Drive – you will see the ocean in front of you and a traffic light, now make a left turn and immediately again another left turn into Link Road and park in front of the first building on your left. The 2 storey building on your left with a gated entrance is Brighton Court.
