De Waterkant Cottages We offer a selection of traditional and contemporary four star and luxury properties all with their own unique character & style. Our accommodation offers space, privacy and home comforts; each is fully serviced six days a week with a light service on Sundays with the exception of public holidays. All have fully fitted kitchens, living and dining rooms with satellite television (DSTV Compact), DVD, music systems, direct dial telephone, WiFi (additional charge) and the properties have wall safes and an outdoor area as standard. All master bedrooms have air-conditioning. In addition, from our website, you can choose properties with pools, private courtyards, garages and roof decks with amazing views. We offer extra guest services of pre-stocked kitchens, flowers, airport pick-ups and catering for private functions.
De Waterkant Cottages is ideally positioned within easy walking distance to the city centre, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The area boasts a good selection of recommended restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, clubs, deli’s and designer shops. Hire Car companies are within easy walking distance.

...from the airport it will take you approx 30 minutes to drive. • take the N2 motorway and follow signs for Cape Town. • after 18km follow M6 to Waterfront & C.T.I.C.C; this highway runs between the harbour and city. • 1st set of traffic lights go straight across - C.T.I.C.C. (Cape Town International Conference Centre) will be on your left and V&A Waterfront is signposted to the right; you are now on Buitengracht Street. • 2nd & 3rd set of traffic lights go straight across - get into right hand lane. • 4th set of traffic lights turn right into Strand Street. • continue straight and take 3rd street on right into Loader Street. ...you are now in De Waterkant Village! 2nd turning on the right is our reception at 40 Napier Street. • We advise you park in Loader Street and simply walk down to reception. • Our normal office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm and weekends/public holidays 10:00am to 3:00pm. Reception is closed 25th December and 1st January. If you are arriving before or after these times please call 072 457 4387 during our office hours to let us know your arrival time. A late check-in fee is applicable.
