Kambaku Game Lodge Directions
From Johannesburg head for Witbank on the N12 highway. This highway becomes the N4. Continue on the N4 until you see the Belfast turnoff. Take the Belfast turn off and head into the little town of Belfast. In the centre of town you will see a sign post for Dullstroom / Lydenburg. Turn right there. Continue on this road for approximately 30kms until you reach Dullstroom. Continue straight through the village of Dullstroom and head for Lydenburg, approximately 50kms. You will come to a T Junction. Turn left there and head into the town of Lydenburg. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left. This is a ring road that will take you out of town and onto the R36 towards the village of Origstad. Once on this road you will head directly for Hoedspruit. Once in Hoedspruit , continue on straight through the town. You will go over a small bridge and then at the four way intersection you will turn right onto the R40. Head out of town for approximately 6 kms. Turn left at the Timbavati / Eastgate Airport road. You will go through a control gate and then head directly for the Timbavati Game Reserve Gate which is roughly 30kms further on. There is approximately 10kms of fairly corrugated dirt road to be journeyed on just before reaching the Gate. Once at the Reserve Gate you will need to pay a conservation levy of R100 per person and R100 per vehicle. Once in the reserve continue straight for 2kms, and then turn right when you see the direction sign board. Follow the Kambaku signs to the lodge.
