Rivierplaas is a working farm situated ±25km outside of Worcester, on the banks of the Breede River. Over time the owner has developed what started out as the family’s private swimming and picnic area, into the popular camp site it is today. The camp features a swimming area, a foefie slide (flying fox) into the river, lapa, hot water showers, flushing toilets and guaranteed peace and quiet. This is the ideal place for bird lovers and fishing enthusiasts. The camp is devided in 3 main areas: Oukamp (minimum of 10 people), Witstinkhoutkamp and Sipreskamp. The farm is also the base of Breede Adventures, an outdoor adventure company, with their main focus on guided canoe trips down the meandering Breede River.

Rivierplaas is situated in Scherpenheuwel, with award winning wine cellars, olive farms and dairy farm in close proximity.
