African Game Lodge near Montagu in the Western Cape, offers self catering cottages and camping in the Langeberg Mountains. Eco friendly & running on solar power; African Game Lodge provides a non hunting haven for guests and indigenous wildlife large & small to enjoy peace, tranquillity and stunning landscapes all year.

Thatch roof cottages are dotted around the main guest area & elegantly decorated in a rustic style. Each with two bedrooms, bathrooms with baths & showers, fully equipped kitchenettes, cosy lounges with fireplaces and large, private, covered stoeps with braai areas. Cool down in a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and enjoy a bring & braai at the communal Boma

Our chalets are equipped with a main bedroom with double bed, second room with 2 three quarter beds, comfortable lounge. Kitchenette with crockery and cutlery supplied. Linen and towels provided. Outside barbeque facilities to enjoy the clean mountain air.
In the evening, spend time on your Verandah with wonderful views over a large plain and mountains or join us for a "bring and braai" at the lodge where guests gravitate when the sun goes down.

Available activities are Guided Nature/ Game viewing Drives, Cheetah Awareness Program at feeding time, swimming, trail running, walking, hiking, birdwatching, mountain biking (bring your own bikes) and relaxing.

A communal Lodge with large sofas and a hearty log fire houses a cosy restaurant with a well stocked bar, DStv, free WiFi, a selection of reading books, a dart board and a pool table.

There is very no cellphone coverage and cellphones, laptops & mp3 players can be recharged at the communal lodge.
