IIKaras is the southernmost region in Namibia that forms a border with South Africa.
The capital city of the region is Keetmanshoop, and Karasburg and Luderitz are other popular towns in the region. The region's name derives from a prominent mountain range found the area, the Karas Mountains. Just like the Hardap Region, IIkaras also streches from the Atlantic Ocean right through to the east where it meets with the South Africa Northern Cape province.
The region is diverse and there are plently to things to do and see across IIKaras. From fishing and boating in Luderitz, hot water spirngs in Ai- Ais to the Fish River Canyoon, IIKaras makes a great holiday destination, nomatter which town you choose to go. There are abounding rivers and lakes where various water sports can be enjoyed coupled with great picnicking spots. The Quiver tree forest is also found in the IIKaras region and making a turn there to discover distinct vegetation will be worth the time spent there.

What a beautiful Lodge, excellent service (5 star), location is one of the best in this country. We received outstanding service from a team that exceeded every need we had as a family.
