Inhambane is a province, but also a town with provincial status in Mozambique situated on the southern coast of the country. 

The province hosts the capital city of the country Maputo and several popular tourist destinations. These include Inhambane, the town, Tofo, Tete, Manica, Sofala and Nampula. The province enjoys excellent tropical weather throughout the year and if you are keen on this climate, you can enjoy the sight of mangrove swamps found in the area.  The province is the second largest producer of cashew nuts, coconut and citrus fruit in the world and the cities are a great place to treat yourself to this fresh produce.
