Safari Trips
This section of www.Venues4Africa.com is feed back from travellers that have used some of the tour and safari operators:

I thank you and everyone at Wilderness Safaris for making this all possible and for making it as big as a success as this was. The single most important factor in making our safari so perfect is Garth Thompson. I cannot even begin to thank you enough for recommending him. To say that Garth Thompson is the finest guide in Africa, although absolutely true, is a mere understatement of fact and emotion. To travel on safari with Garth is to share and breathe his passion and love for all of Africa...it is seeing Africa through his eyes and his heart and knowing that your eyes and hearts are forever changed for the better by experiencing Africa as few others get the chance to. We have taken home with us a permanent and undeniable love for Africa. We feel the desire and the passion to return again and again and to see and experience as much as possible with Garth. best of all, we have made a friend for life. We only hope to have the opportunity to return the hospitality and the care he has shown for our entire family. We miss Garth… we miss Africa… we will be back..... Very best,

A walking safari makes you feel alive, every sense alert, aware of the smell of wild thyme as you brush past and the crack of twigs underfoot, watchful for buffalo, wary of lions. You have the time to wonder at spiders’ webs, watch the hysterical antics of dung beetles and unravel the fascinating interrelationships of species in the company of one of Africa’s great guides. Nothing is more thrilling than being close to big game. The most exciting safari I have ever experienced was tracking rhino on foot through the thick jesse bush of Zimbabwe’s Matusadona, with John Stevens as my guide. For hour upon hour, I revelled in a masterclass of bushcraft as he followed the faint trail of clues (the hint of spoor in the sand, a scuffed mark on a rock, tiny broken mopane stems) until we were heart-stoppingly close to the rhino.

A very big thank you must go out to Mozaic tours and www.Venues4Africa.com on organizing my trip to Mozambique.  It was without a doubt one of my most memorable trips ever.  A definite must to visit again.  I would recommend the Ihambane province to any one who wants to visit Mozambique.  It is a truly amazing experience from the friendly people to the amazing scenery that one encounters there.  I especially enjoyed the deep sea fishing and scuba diving that I did, lots of fish were caught and the under water experience was truly out of this world.

Kariba is an experience that cannot be described accurately enough to do it justice one has to go there to appreciate it.  Being my first time to the lake, I came back truly relaxed.  The lake has peacefulness about it, with fish eagles crying in the background and spectacular sunsets, while having a cold beer is something that will truly calm any one.  A big thank you must go out to Rhino Lodge tours that provided me with an unforgettable holiday experience.  Will definitely see you again soon.
