Sesfontein is a small settlement situated in the Kunene Region in Namibia.
It is situated in the Hoanib Valley on the northern edge of Damaraland. Sesfontein is set between mountains where breathtaking views can be enjoyed and keen photographers will have plenty to capture. The abounding desert vegetation is scenic and the likes of acacia tortilis, mopane and fan palms are ubiquitous.
The town derives its name from the six fountains found near the area. Another great land landmark in the town is the Fort Sesfontein which your trip to the town ncomplete if you do not visit the site. The fort was initially built as a trade post and it was reconstructed a hundred year later to accommodate tourists. The palm trees at the fort are also worth having a look should you make a turn.

What a beautiful Lodge, excellent service (5 star), location is one of the best in this country. We received outstanding service from a team that exceeded every need we had as a family.
