Acre Estate is situated in Hillcrest, a mere 30km from Durban and 650 meters above sea level on the famous annual Comrades Marathon and Duzi canoe routes. Hillcrest offers a more temperate climate, opposed to the high humidity of the Durban coast line.

From Durban Follow the N3 towards Pinetown and Pietermaritzburg, watch carefully for the M13 split (alternative route)travel along the M13, bypass Pinetown, travel up Fields Hill, bypass Kloof and continue until Hillcrest/Gillitts/Old Main Road turnoff. Take this off-ramp and turn right into Old Main Road and travel into Hillcrest untill the Inanda Road intersection,identified by Checkers Centre on the left and Pick n Pay on the right. Turn right at these robots into Inanda Road and travel for approximately 1km over a railway bridge. The second turn to the right after the railway bridge is Hilltop Road. Turn into Hilltop and Polela Road is the second turn to the right and Acre Estate, number 5, is clearly marked on the right hand side. From Pietermaritzburg Follow the N3 towards Durban until the M13 off ramp clearly marked as Hillcrest West. Follow the Hillcrest signs until a "T" junction. Turn right at the robots into Old Main Road and travel into the centre of Hillcrest. Turn left at the Inanda Road intersection identified by Checkers Centre on the right and Pick n Pay across the road on the left. Travel about 1km over the railway bridge and after the railway bridge take the second turn to the right into Hilltop Road and Polela Road is the second turn to the right and Acre Estate,No.5, is clearly marked on the right hand side.
