DIRECTIONS TO DAWSON’S From Joburg: Take the N12 (in the general directions of OR Tambo Airport). This is signposted towards Witbank At Witbank, take the N4. (see “From Witbank” for rest) From Midrand: Take the M1 North to Pretoria, following the N1 to Polokwane (Pietersburg) and the branch off onto the N4 to Witbank. (see “From Witbank” for rest) From Witbank: At Witbank, take the N4. Continue along the N4, past Middelburg, past Belfast, until you reach the town of Machadodorp (R541). Drive through Machadodorp, and keep a look out for the signs directing you to Badplaas/Barberton (This is approximately 4 streets and at a T-junction turn left. But watch for signs). This will take you over a pass. Take it easy as there are some hairpin bends (this is especially relevant if anyone will be driving at night. Take it very easy, please). Once over the pass, you come to a T-junction signposted: Badplaas right; Barberton Left. Go Left towards Barberton (R38).
